Challenge for Charities

In 2025, over $22,000 was raised through the Challenge for Charities to continue supporting the Library. During the annual Challenge for Charities the Lander Community Foundation matches a percentage of every dollar donated to the Lander Library Friends Association.

Through funds raised during the Challenge for Charities the collections are constantly being developed, the patio was updated, an assistant summer maintenance person was hired, work is continuing on the new computer space, and more.

Between movie viewings in the Carnegie, and the enjoyment of a comfortable reading spot on the patio or under the shade of the gazebo, the library has gained more than just structural improvements. It has gained spaces for the community to come together and enrich their lives. Without you we could never have achieved so much.

Donations made between May 1 and July 10 are matched by the generous Matching Fund Challengers!
